I used Barry’s photo again and after reading about cubism I did this sketch. I realised that my previous effort was not cubism at all. Don’t know if this is closer to it… but it was anyway fun to do.
I don’t know much about cubism, Cecily, but this piece is so interesting. Love the angles, shapes and darks and lights of it!
It is nice to learn more about art, Leslie. But in the end if you do your own thing and enjoys it, that’s what counts. Don’t think I know much about cubism either, but it was fun.
Now, that looks quite Cubist. As if you’re walking around the room and drawing from your constantly changing point of view and enjoying the challenge. Picasso must be smiling.
