Almost spring

Officially on the 1st of September its spring day, but here in Cape Town you can keep your winter clothes out till late November. We will have some summer days with winter rains in between. Nobody is surprised if we then suddenly see snow on the mountains in October.

But in the garden you can already see ‘spring’. New leaves are appearing and fruit trees show their blossoms.

  4. Lovely sketch of the apricot blossom. We’re enjoying nice fall weather right now and the leaves are changing colour. Many people are heading out of town for our Thanksgiving weekend.

    • Yes Barry with this blogging our worlds grow bigger and we remember that we are not all in the same season. And we only know thanksgiving from american movies!
